St. James is a congregation of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA) and is located one block off the square in historic Gettysburg, PA.  We are a diverse community of families and singles, older adults and children, and everyone in-between!  On a given weekend, about 300 people come together for worship at one of our three vibrant worship services.

The greater community of Gettysburg knows us especially for our music, our youth programs, and our outreach.  We invite you to come and see!

Saturday – 5:30 pm: A quiet service of Word and the Sacrament of Holy Communion

Sunday – 8:15 am and 10:45 am: Traditional services celebrating the Sacrament of Holy Communion

4th weekend of every month – Prayers for Healing offered at the conclusion of every service

“We respond to God’s abundant grace by being hearers, proclaimers and doers of the Word.”
